The focus of my work for the last ten years has been tall vessels presented in sets. All my vessels are wheel thrown, trimmed from a single ball of clay, and then positioned into statuesque groupings. The clay bodies I use are earthenware, stoneware, and porcelain. The wash or glaze used depends on the form. On some forms a simple wash works well, in others rich textures or subtle colors may enhance the set. I fire glazes at cone 6 oxidation in an electric kiln.
